Islamabad, Oct 10 (pakdestiny.com) Dunya TV management has fired 60 employees including reporters and sub-editors of newspaper and TV.
Informed sources told Pak Destiny that Dunya media group owner Mian Amer Mahmood had sacked 60 or so employees as part of ‘right-sizing’ plan. Some 200 employees are also likely to be sent packing in coming days.
The sacked employees have protested against the decision and demanded the management to reinstate them.
Since the daily Dunya is not doing well the Human Resource department recommended firing of the employees. – Pak Destiny
