There has been strong calls on social media to impose “national emergency on sexual assault on women and children in Pakistan in wake of Lahore motorway gang rape incident.
“Highly poor Country like Liberia , more of failed state declares national emergency to tackle growing cases of rape and sexual assault on women in ctry. our judicial system, Lawyers make big money, courts grant bail to rapists. why shud people not do speedy justice,” Farooq Hameed Khan said on Twitter on Sunday.
It's a matter of willingness which our elected members lack. They are so disoriented that even can't create consensus on controlling heinous crimes. They believe in adhoc solutions with homeopathic kind of treatment.#MotowayIncident is not the first & last of it's own kind & nature

This demand aptly makes a point in the wake of ongoing scenario in Pakistan.
The brutal rape of a French-Pakistani woman in front of her children has shaken the nation with demands pouring in from all walks of life to arrest and hang the culprits publicly.
One can only loath the Buzdar led PTI Punjab government for holding press conference and making big trumpets without arresting the real culprits.
Where is Prime Minister Imran Khan on this matter? Why he hasn’t yet condemned Lahore CCPO Umer Sheikh conduct of victim shaming. Not doing so amounts to endorsing it.
PM Khan should brings more stringent law against the assault of women and children.
You're right Sir, atleast in child rape cases Courts can execute culprit on the basis of DNA positive, becoz there's in these cases there's no possibility of consent of victim.Great need of reforms in our criminal judicial system🙆🏻

Another twitter user says “Remember this incident has taken place in surroundings of metropolitan and we can easily imagine&assess the prevailing situation in remote areas of country where law enforcing departments are either highly politicized or operate for fulfillment of their personal motives/objectives”.
