    Its finally official — BOL TV — is bought from Shoaib Sheikh.

    “Bol Network announced on Monday that it had been acquired by AsiaPak Investments, a private equity firm,” says a press release on Monday.

      BOL’s headquarters will remain in Karachi. AsiaPak Investments has offices in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, it says and adds Sameer Chishty was announced as the new chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Bol Network.

    “Amazing progress is being made globally in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and, telecommunications. Impact is being felt across the entire media ecosystem, including content creation, news, entertainment, gaming, music, education, communication, and, community,” the press release quoted Chishty as saying.

      The new BOL Network promises powerful ways of generating and distributing content so we may all teach and we may all learn, it says.

    IT company Axact had launched this channel in 2015. However BOL TV hit a fake degree scandal after that Shoiab Shiekh’s fate of going in and out of jail over one case or another.

   Shoaib Shaikh was convicted in 2018 along with 22 others in the fake degree case.

    It is also said that PPP’s Sharjeel Memon is behind this deal.

    Before acquisition of BOL TV by this company, it was openly supporting Imran Khan and his party PTI. PAK DESTINY
