PPP back out from Karachi agreement after no relief was given/promised to Zardari

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has announced that “under no condition would Sindh share powers with anyone” only after no relief was promised to Asif Ali Zardari.

Yesterday  PPP, PTI and MQM-P had agreed to take joint measures for the betterment of Karachi.

Dawn reported that a senior member of the security establishment flew to Karachi on Saturday to have all the three parties sit together so that they could mutually find a solution to Karachi’s problems that have been troubling the top military leadership for quite some time.

However on Monday when PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari appears in the NAB reference but finds no relief the PPP decided to backtrack what it had committed on Saturday’s meeting.

“We are expected to give share in power but in return nothing is given to us… how will this power sharing thing go,” a PPP lead told Pak Destiny.
He said the PPP shouldn’t be taken as ‘weak’. “We will not let PTI and MQM-P enjoy power in Sindh/Karachi and on the other hand frame cases against our leadership.

On the other hand, Murad Ali Shah said: “Under no condition will the executive power of the Sindh province, Sindh government and the Sindh Assembly, given to PTI and MQM under the Constitution.”

The PTI is desperate to lay hand on the power of Sindh. PTI under Buzdar fails to run Punjab but keen to rule Sindh. Isn’t it interesting? PAK DESTINY
