Will motor-mouth interior minister Sheikh Rashid resign on cancellation of New Zealand cricket team tour of Pakistan in security reasons.
This motor mouth’s focus is on opposition all the time and less on on his job. This man brought a great deal of embarrassment for Pakistan. The opposition has demanded his resignation.
The big mouth couldn’t ensure an environment that provided sense of security to the visiting Kiwis. In a statement, the Pakistan Cricket Board said that New Zealand Cricket (NZC) informed the board they had been alerted to “some security alert” and unilaterally decided to postpone the series.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also personally spoke to PM New Zealand Jacinda Ardern requesting her not to cancel the tour as Pakistan had one of the best intelligence systems in the world and that no security threat of any kind existed for the visiting team.
Pakistan Cricket Board said: “Cricket lovers in Pakistan and around the world will be disappointed by this last minute withdrawal.”

New Zealand cricketers were provided head of state level security, they were state’s guests here which means highest level of protection were given to them, our agencies successfully managed security during various cricket events in last few years. This is so disappointing.
